Dying light was on of the best Post Apocalyptic Open World games of this generation. Who doesn’t love Slaughtering Zombies With Craftable Melee Weapons? Who doesn’t love A huge World Filled with queset and precious loots?
Well Dying Light 2 sold over 15 Million copies and became Financially Successful. So a sequel seemed obvious. And it was announced. Dying Light 2! Dying Light 2 was supposed to be released by now but it has been delayed indefinitely. So we’re going to take a look at everything We Know About Dying Light So far! Let’s get started!
Dying Light 2 takes place 15 years after the Event of the First game. YOU will now take the a role of a new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell. His main objective Is yet to be revealed, but It’s probably About Finding a Cure or something Equally Important for Survival.
1-setting, story and characters
Like The First game, Dying Light 2 takes place in a post apocalyptic World where Zombies Have Become The New Kings Of the world and they can be found anywhere. Literally! And Like other Post apocalyptic worlds, Food, Clean water and medicine are Rare commodity and Firearms, Advanced Technology and Vehicles are hard to come by. and, as you may know already, Zombies are not the Only threats for Survivors. Different Factions and group of Survivors constantly Fighting And Killing each other over Scarce Resources.

LONG story short, he is a Tough Survivor that doesn’t go down easy. A perfect choice for taking the role of Hero in A post apocalyptic World filled with Dangerous Zombies. Don’t you think?
The most impressive thing about the World and of Dying light 2, is the size of it. Dying Light 2’s map is 4 Times Larger than All of the first game’s Combined. That includes the Slums, Old City and Following Expansion. Considering how huge the Map of the first game was, we must admit there won’t be any complain about the Size of the map of Dying Light 2.
2-world
As you probably Know, Dying Light 2 is a an open world Game in which Exploration is as important as Doing main Missions. That includes the Slums, Old City and Following Expansion. Considering how huge the Map of the first game was, we must admit there won’t be any complain about the Size of the map of Dying Light 2.
Map of Dying Light 2, consists of Seven different Areas with Unique Features. Buildings, Streets, And to some Extent, Zombies of each area are Different comparing to the others. and Since there are different Factions in the game, we can assume Each faction has Territory and of some sort. Most importantly, based on what we’ve seen In Gameplay Footage, some areas of the map are not accessible at first and later, by progressing thorough the story or making some Specific Decisions, these areas Become Accessible and you can freely explore these them. Also, some side quests will become available after accessing these areas.
first of all it seems that elemental Melee Weapons Works a bit differently in this game. Instead of an Elemental effect being active all the time, apparently You can turn it off and by pressing a Button. We don’t know the reason but still it’s nice to have the option right? At the end, Techland has confirmed that There will be more options for Crafting Weapons comparing to the first game and there are some special Firearms and Ranged weapon, like Scorpio.
3-combat and parkour
Parkour movements in Dying Light, is twice as many comparing to the first game. It seems that Movements, Jumping, Sprinting and Sliding will be more Fun and smooth. Also it’s confirmed by Techland, the Developer that Grappling hook is present in Dying Light 2. And it’s been Rumored that like the first game, You can use Grappling hook in Combat like for Disarming Enemies. Although it’s yet to be Confirmed.
And what about Combat you may ask? Well first of all it seems that elemental Melee Weapons Works a bit differently in this game. In the end, we should talk about itsi Release date. Dying Light 2 has been delayed indefinitely and considering the recent CoronaVirus Outbreak, it seems that Game deveDevelop is not going too great. But I think we can expect Dying Light 2 to be released sometime Around Fall 2020. Although it’s just a Guess
